Conventions of A Music Video

Some conventions which we are going to try and include in our video-
-  Slow Motion- For the memories of the two sisters. This way it makes the reader see there memories and happiness.
- Close-up Shot- To see the good times in close detail.
- A prop- Our piano as it is essential for the melody and feeling of our song.
- An mixture of different cutting and editing techniques, ie fade in/out.
- Lighting- Low and High key lighting, mixture of the two, to connote either happy times or sad times.
-An object which has some relevence to the narrative of the story ie the cut up rose, the notepad. In ours we are going to use a locket with a picture in it.
